​Windhover is NC State's annual art and litary magazine that displays the creative work of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. For the 2013-2014 academic school year, I worked as Design Editor for the 48th edition of the magazine. Approximately 2,000 copies are published every April.

• Recruit, interview, and hire design staff

• Oversee design team and work together on projects and production of the magazine

• Design, plan, collaborate, and create Windhover with the team

• Advertise for events promoting Windhover and work directly with printing company

 

Honors Village Fellow. University Honors Program

HV Fellows at NC State serve as mentors to incoming freshmen in the University Honors Program by bridging the gap of scholarship from the classroom to living environment. We encourage continual learning and for students to take ownership of their education. We live out the mission of the UHP that seeks to discover, inquire, and create.

 

• Lead weekly meetings for Cultural Exploration Society

• Planned with a committee to redesign the main lounge in the Honors Village

• Give tours around the Honors Village and attend events for prospective students and families

• Mentor freshmen in the program in both formal and informal settings
